# Trivy Scanner

Trivy Scanner Releases
======================

Release notes for [`harbor-scanner-trivy`](https://github.com/container-registry/harbor-scanner-trivy), the Container Registry build of the Trivy scanner adapter Harbor uses for vulnerability scanning and SBOM generation. Its Helm chart has [its own release notes](/docs/release-notes/trivy-scanner-helm-chart/index.md).

The adapter is versioned on its own line and released on its own schedule, so its version has no relationship to a Harbor version.
