Tag Policies

Tags can be reused, and artifacts can be cleared out to free storage. Tag policies let you decide both: retention rules decide what is kept, immutability rules decide what cannot be overwritten.

These rules require a project administrator permission level and are applied on the repository level.

Another way to manage tags in bulks is to define specific rules. Both types of rules can create up to 15 rules that will be applied using an OR algorithm; the rules are calculated independently from each other.
