# Authentication management

Authentication management
=================================
The current chapter covers everything that has to do with user authentication, for both physical users - your team members and system users, e.g. robot accounts for CI/CD automaiton.

Authentication management is done on the system level. Authorization is set up on the project level, except for the system admins.

Robot accounts can be set up on both system and project level. Physical users need to be created on the system level, but their permissions are defined within projects. System admins have unlimited system-wide permissions. Projects can have their own admins. Those do not necessarily have system-wide access.
